The lesson
I will greet the students and tell them that we will listen to a story. The students are going to lesson to the story
smarty pants and I am going to ask the about what do they think of the story.
“what do you think of the story that you just saw”

First together we will create a character profile of the princess. Then I will give each students a white paper
and tell them to draw the princess and write down the characterizes like we did together on the board
Each one of you takes a white paper and make a character profile about the princess.
then I am going to ask some students to show their character profile to the rest of the class.
Time: 45 min

How about some of you come and show your profile to the rest of the class
Then I will ask the students to write what they will do if they were taking care of the princess pets.
Whole

Imagine yourself in the place of the princes what would you do if are taking care of her pets
how would do it?

After that I will tell them to write what do they think happened after the princess become the queen.
What do you think would happen if the princess become the queen?

Then I can review the story with them and make remember what happened on the story. Or I can let them hear
the story again

Assessment (to be done during activity time, who and what will be assessed?)

Assess the student writing ability.


Reflection WWW/EBI
What went well is that I used a video of the story rather than read the story for the students. Since it was a video it
grabbed the student’s attention and made them focus on the story. Then I asked about their thoughts of the story each
student had different thoughts about the story. And the activities went well the students enjoyed drawing the princess
and describing her. And they also imagined different endings. It would have better if I could have read the story my self
.

Behaviour management
the students were behaved and I didn’t to tell them to be quiet.

Groupings/differentiation
The students weren’t in groups they were sitting in their normal seating.
Next Steps in learning and teaching
To learn how to read aloud in a way that the students will enjoy and grab the students attention.
