Comments: LO are somewhat specific just need to change the verbs from use to… e.g. say/name the body parts. Use is a little more ambiguous. Reading the LP you are
focusing on big/small but these are not reflected clearly in the LO. Choose the concept/vocabulary carefully to focus on as the book is focusing on height tall/short which
might confuse the Ss as second language learner.
The guided experience activity has been repeated.

Check the organization of the LP content as you have put one of the activities in haleka into the guided group experience (done during group time)

Comments:
You have added assessments to the various parts of the LP but say exactly ‘what’ you are assessing e.g. asking questions (what are you trying to assess?)
observations (what are you observing?). good to see you working with a group and actively assessing, although ensure you are assessing the intending
learning outcome as you are assessing writing of names and drawing.

Starting with a song getting them actively engaged. Questioning before reading, also a reference to concepts of print and which way up the book
should be. Using TPR to reinforce the vocabulary – small, big, bigger

Using a non-fiction book. It was nice to show pictures of the children as babies and now, Makes learning relevant to them.

Modelling using the string to measure which is reinforcing tall/short. Just be careful as you are talking about which is bigger and not taller. Be
very specific with the use of concepts and the language used to support these so the Ss are not confusing the various terms.

You now need a specific focus for the LO which is clearly reinforced through the activities and assessed with a clear outcome.

You also need to differentiate the LO. There was differentiation when drawing themselves (by outcome) as every picture was different but this
was not linked to the LO.

Have a clear transition to activities (T) intervened here). Also. With tidy up you gave a 2 minute warning but most children continued working.
You did verbally praise a child for tidying up. Maybe have a clearer signal e.g. lights off/on or an auditory cue.

Reviewed work after activity reviewing some of the language eyes, long/short. Child.

Grammar-Do you know whose this? (Do you know who this is?)
