3. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
TK-5329 FLOOR HARDENER &
DENSIFIER is a colorless, odorless
blend of 100% active sodium silicate
and siliconate chemicals to strengthen,
harden, densify and dustproof concrete
and masonry floors. TK-5329 FLOOR
HARDENER & DENSIFIER penetrates
into the concrete, sealing the capillaries
and pores and creating a chemical reaction
with the calcium carbonate (or free lime) in
the concrete to produce a hard, mineral film
that is resistant to damage caused by water,
chemicals and abrasion. TK-5329 is ideal

for industrial, warehousing, manufacturing

4. TECHNICAL DATA:
Nontoxic, noncombustible. Complies
with all V.O.C. Regulations.
APPLICABLE STANDARDS:
- ASTM C-42 IMPACT: increases
impact resistance.
- ASTM C-779 ABRASION: 33%
increase in abrasion resistance.
- ASTM D-3359 BONDING: 16.7%
increase in epoxy adhesion. No change
- ASTM C-39: 42% increase in
compressive strength at 7 days. 39%
increase at 28 days over untreated
samples.
- ASTM G-23: No effect by ultra violet
light or water spray exposure.
CURING:
TK-5329 provides greater moisture
retention during the initial 24 hour curing
period versus untreated samples.
PERMEABILITY:
TK-5329 is breathable, and will allow
moisture vapor to pass through the treated
surface.

5.APPLICATION PROCEDURES AND
INSTRUCTIONS
Before using this product, read the
Material Safety Data Sheet for complete
safety information. Material Safety Data
Sheets are available from TK distributors
and the TK office.
Preparation:
The surface must be clean and free
of dirt, oil, curing compounds or foreign
materials. Patch all cracks and remove
any laitence. Any cleaners need to be
thoroughly rinsed off. The surface can
be damp, but must not have any standing
water as it will dilute TK-5329 and affect its
performance.
Technical Data
APPLICATION:
TK-5329 FLOOR HARDENER &
DENSIFIER may be applied with sprayer,
roller, or brush.
New Concrete: Concrete must cure
a minimum of 7 days before applying TK-
5329 FLOOR HARDENER & DENSIFIER.
Water curing or covering the concrete
with poly are recommended methods of
curing. TK-2519 DC WB DISSIPATING
CONCRETE CURE may be used to cure
the concrete, but application instructions
must be precisely followed to ensure

complete removal of the curing resin.
Work TK-5329 FLOOR HARDENER &
DENSIFIER into the surface using a soft
bristle brush or scrub pad. A mechanical
scrubber must be used to increase the
effectiveness of this product. Work TK-
5329 into the surface until it begins to gel
or become slippery, then rewet the surface
and work for another 10 –15 minutes.
As the surface gels or becomes slippery
again, squeegee any excess product away
and damp-mop the entire area, rinsing the
mop with fresh water every 100-200ft2.

In order for the proper reaction to occur,
the surface must remain saturated with TK-
5329 FLOOR HARDENER & DENSIFIER
for a minimum of 30 minutes. Very porous
or open concrete surfaces may result in
faster surface drying. If this occurs, you
must apply additional TK-5329 and leave
for 30 minutes.
Existing Concrete: Work TK-5329
FLOOR HARDENER & DENSIFIER into
