Guidelines and Criteria for K-POP Dance Contest

Guidelines:

1. The contest is open to all bonafide employees exclusively only in the departments of
Accounting,Admin, Audit, Human Resources, IT, Office of the President, and Purchasing with a
minimum of 5 members per group and no maximum limit of participants. The members of the
group maybe composed of males, females, or any combination thereof.

2. Music must be Korean or by a Korean k-pop singer or group or can be compilation of Korean
songs also it must have an accompaniment of any Christmas music/song.

3. The whole presentation shall be a minimum of 3 minutes and not more than 5 minutes.
Beyond this limit, a total of 1 point will be deducted from the group’s total score.

4. Improvised instrument and props are permitted during the contest. Each group shall provide
their own music.

5. The use of pyrotechnic gadgets, broken glass, sharp objects, smoke generators, combustible
and hazardous materials as props are prohibited. Also, no dangerous stunts will be allowed.

6. The decision of the members of the board of judges is final and irrevocable.

Criteria for Judging:

Choreography (creativity & artistry, style & originality) -35%

Execution (timing, projection, coordination, expression & mastery) - 25%

Suitability to the theme - 20%

Costume and Music - 15%

Audience Impact - 5%

Total - 100%
