What is Laser Therapy?
Laser therapy uses a process called photobiomodulation. Photons enter the tissue and interact with the cytochrome c complex
within mitochondria. This interaction triggers a biological cascade of events that leads to an increase in cellular metabolism
and a decrease in both pain and inflammation.

Isn’t it the same as Ultrasound? Does it Work?

Making Spirits
Bright in
Rockaway Beach
Congratulations to the Rockaway Beach Civic Association for
hosting another successful holiday party and Christmas tree
lighting. On Saturday afternoon, December 8, members of the
RBCA, local elected officials, officers from the 100th Precinct
and families gathered in front of Peninsula Library to enjoy hot
chocolate, singing, festive arts and crafts, and the lighting of the
tree outside of the library. However the highlight of the event
was when Santa Claus himself paid the party a visit and stuck
around to take photos with all.

Annual Christmas Tree Lighting at SFDS

Hundreds gathered on Rockaway Beach Boulevard outside the St.
Francis de Sales Prayer Garden to celebrate the annual lighting of its
100+ Christmas trees and angels. Bill Sweeney and Father Jim offered
prayers and blessed the trees. Holiday music filled the air. The crowd
was also serenaded by Father Jomar, who was celebrating his birth-
day (and Father Jomar took these pics!) Santa made an appearance
and so did Roger the Elf who delighted all the kids. Tis the season!
