PILIPINAS (LNB) 15" GENERAL MEMBERSHIP ASSEMBLY AND ‘MASS OATH TAKING OF LIGA CHAPTER PRESIDENTS The Liga ng mga Barangay sa Pilipinas (LnB) will hold its 1* General Membership Assembly and Mass Oath Taking of Liga Chapter Presidents on November 5-7, 2018 at the ‘Newport Performing Arts Theater, Pasay City, Metro Manila. The objectives of the activity are 1) to facilitate the Mass Oath Taking of All Liga ng mga Barangay Chapter Presidents, elected during the 2018 LuB Chapter Elections; 2) to set the direction of the National Liga to complement the goals and directives of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, In this connection, through the request of Hon. Faustino “Inno” A. Dy V, LnB National President, all Regional/Provincial/City/Municipal LnB Presidents, Barangay Officials and Members, are hereby encouraged to participate in the said activity on official business. The payment of applicable travelling expenses and a registration fee per Participant, to defray the costs of hotel accommodation, meals and congress materials, may be authorized chargeable against their respective local funds, subject to the availability hereof, and to the usual accounting and auditing requirements and to all pertinent laws, rules and regulations. Provided, however, that the travelling expenses and registration fee shall not be charged against the 20% component of the Internal Revenue Allotment or from whatever source which may prejudice poverty reduction efforts. ‘The LnB-National President shall submit a post-activity report to the Undersigned, through the National Barangay Operations Office, within one (1) month after the conduct of the said assembly. “Matino, Mahusay at Maaasahan” ChoAll DILG Regional Directors and Field Officers are likewise directed to cause the widest dissemination of this Circular in their respective jurisdiction.
