Genealogical Society is looking for
veterans or anyone with a collection
of military items for its second ever
Veteran’s Tribute Display.
The event will take place from 10
a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 6,
at the Mecosta County Genealogical
Society building, 424 N. Fourth Ave.
in Big Rapids. Several veterans will be
on hand throughout the day, displaying
photos, scrapbooks, flags and other
military memorabilia.
The public is invited and students
are encouraged to pay tribute to our
Mecosta County area veterans. The
genealogical society also will have their
genealogy records, including military
