Chemical war in syria

Syrians are facing death in syria these days, They’re being attacked by chemical

gases which is a huge problem. Many Syrians believe that the president Bashar Alasad

is the one that’s behind all these attacks. The country has been falling apart, because

Syrian’s don’t have respect for the president anymore, and trying to get revenge for

killing other Syrians. That results in huge loss for both sides. Syrians believe that

assassinating the president would end the bloody deadly war.

Over 500 people have been killed in Chemical attacks, 500,00 have been killed

in the war, and over 5 million have fled the country. Witnesses say war planes attacked

khan sheikhoun while people were asleep, with a gas called sarin. Over 80 people were

pronounced dead. A couple weeks later there was another attack on the city Aleppo,

Syrians believed that attack was by Iranian military. Over 100 people were pronounced

dead in this attack. Many are in critical condition in the hospital, Hospitals say that the

death rate will go up even more.

Survivors from the harsh and deadly attacks, have shared the horrific

experience during the attack. Arwa shared stories that the victims of the chemical

attacks have shared with her; “ I felt my nose close, my body go limp as if i had

everything sucked out of me”- said one of the hundreds of victims. Victims in the

attack are glad that are still happy that they’re alive. But a lot of close family

members and especially innocent children were killed. It is completely unfair that

Syrians have to live a life that harsh.

Volunteers are still trying to find bodies that are in basements, and say

that the death rate is only going to get higher at this point. Victims in this attack

were being treated because of symptoms, way before these attacks took place.

They were treated for symptoms like, foaming of mouth, consisted with nerve or

mixed nerve and chlorine exposure. These attacks even made these symptoms,

which made the death rate go up even more. Volunteers are still trying to do their

best finding people but its hard to save everyone, because there were too many

victims hurt during these deadly harsh attacks.

Sarin was the chemical used in the horrific attacks. Sarin is highly toxic. It is

considered as a deadly chemical weapon. It can kill a person in 10 minutes. Sarin was

outlawed in 1997. Because of how deadly it was it was classified as a schedule one

substance. There are very few countries that still have it. One of them is Syria.

522 thousand victims have died in the Syrian civil war so far. 3 million have left

the country hoping for a better life. Most of these people are innocent people. The

current president Bashar Al- Asad is killing people protesting against him. People were

first protesting about the high unemployment. Many gangs have formed fighting for

their freedom, and to get justice from Bashar Al-Asad. This has been going on for 8

years, and shows no signs of ending.cnn. Bashar Al-Asad has been the president since

his father’s passing in July of 2000. Since his ruling he has killed or 7 thousand kids.

Because of the high death rate in Syrian since the start of the war the UN announced in

2014 that they will officially stop counting the death of people.

The war needs to end as soon as possible. There shouldn’t be more people

dying, especially children. There should be a negotiation with the president that will be

fair for both sides. An agreement to stop killing of both sides. For the whole country to

come together.
