Run Santa Sun

If you saw a flurry of red suits and
huffs and puffs of “ho, ho ho,” on
the boardwalk or around town on
Saturday, December 15, it wasn’t
a hallucination after having too
much eggnog. Santa came to town,
and in droves, as part of the annual
Santa Shuffle presented by Rocka-
puclo Runs. Participants gathered
at Rockaway Gliders on Saturday

numbers, before heading to the
boardwalk via Beach 116th for a
5K of mile fun-run in the suit. They
then met back at Gliders to enjoy
some Santa snacks and Rockapul-
co Gold beer. By the looks of it, it Photos by Joan McGowan and
was a merry time! Marcin Golynski.

Sands Point
Physical Therapy
Experienced, Professional, Compassionate
What is Laser Therapy?
Laser therapy uses a process called photobiomodulation. Photons enter the tissue and interact with the cytochrome c complex
within mitochondria. This interaction triggers a biological cascade of events that leads to an increase in cellular metabolism
and a decrease in both pain and inflammation.

Isn’t it the same as Ultrasound? Does it Work?

A review of 6 random controlled trials
that included 860 individual patients and
published in the peer reviewed medical
journal The Lancet: “Laser therapy was
found to immediately reduce neck pain
AND maintained results up to 22 weeks
after completion of treatment”
