I am interested in becoming a writer for your English Composition I class for the year of 2018-2019. I saw
on the white board in your room that you were looking for somebody to write and participate in certain
class activities in which I viewed as a solid opportunity for myself. I know that I will have to participate in
SSR multiple times per week and write several different types of essays throughout the year.

Even though I do not have much experience with writing, I have mastered all my previous writings that I
have completed throughout my high school career. This includes my research papers in both Freshman
and Sophomore English being above a 95% as well as mastering certain argumentative essays. I have
also mastered vocabulary tests in the past and scored well on my Lexile test. I hope that you will
