Areas of Appli cation

 Building roofs /Terraces– Flat & slope.

 Over existing cementitious waterproofing treatments like brick-bat coba, concrete
screeds, acrylic coatings, etc.
Preparation of surfaces:

 Prepare the surface thoroughly by cleaning, washing and removing dust, dirt,
oil, grease and loose particles.
 Ensure that the roof slope is a minimum of 1 in 100.
 In existing old terraces such as brick-bat-coba or screeds, the substrate must
be checked for its soundness.
 Damaged or hollow portions, sharp edges, etc. must be cut and repaired with
a polymer-modified screed.
 Surface cracks must be flled with Dr.Fixit Crack-X Paste or polymer-modified
mortar in case of wider cracks.
 Bitumen based waterproofing treatments must be completely removed by
mechanical scarification or by any other efective mechanical means.

Application:

 Apply one coat of Dr. Fixit Primeseal (diluted with water in the ratio 2:1) at the rate
of 10-12 m2 per litre. Allow it to dry for 2-3 hours.

 Apply the first coat of Dr. Fixit Newcoat at the rate of 2 m2 per litre and while it is
stiil wet place a woven glass fber mesh of measurements 2mm X 2mm and allow it
to soak completely.

 Immediately apply second coat, to ensure complete coverage of the fiber mesh.

 Apply third coat after 6 to 8 hours once the second coat is dry.

 Ensure that the primer and the 3 coats of Dr. Fixit Newcoat totally achieve a
minimum thickness of 1 mm DFT.

 Allow the system to air cure for 7 days minimum. After 10 days Pond test will be
performed.

Precautions & Limitations:

 All corners, gaps, joints, protrusions & outlets shall be coated with two extra coats.

 Do not apply during rains; substrate MUST be in SSD condition for application of
primer.

 The product is designed only for foot trafic and not vehicular or movement of
machinery or equipments.

 To achieve the full proof waterproofng, parapet walls should be covered with Dr.
Fixit Raincoat

Performance Guarantee:

Our performance guarantee towards above work will be FIVE YEARS from the date of
completion of the work, subject to following conditions:

A) We do not stand responsible for leakages on account of the damages caused to the
structure due to any external forces such as Earthquake, Flood, Mechanical
damages.
B) Performance Guarantee will be valid and operative only when full payment is
effected as per the payments terms.

General Terms & Condition:

 The above rates are exclusive of all taxes.

 Measurement shall be in Sq. foot of overall surface area to be treated by us.
 Electricity and water supply at the work site should be made available free of any
cost/charges.
 Work can be started within one week after receiving work order by you Area to be
treated shall be cleared of all material, rubbish, debris etc. and be handed over to
us in clean working condition at free of charge.
 As per the work order full payment is made on completion of work.

Payment Terms:

 Mobilization Advance : 40% of the total value of the work order

 Second payment: 30% should be released when complete material will be delivered
at site.
 Final Payment should be paid within 8 days from the date of submission of the
same.

Validity : Our ofer is valid for 30 days from the date of its issue.
