Can we improve surge by adding SPD?
The surge 4KV provided by this product is not an external SPD like road lighting but it is part of the
driver.
Usually, the electrical infrastructure within industry campuses is better than the general public
lighting infrastructure. More care is already taken when designing this system since the industry
needs to take care of expensive machinery etc which should not be affected by very poor power
quality. Therefore, 4KV surge is sufficient.....this has been offered from earlier generations as well
Max distance in terms of the control cable between the controller to the luminaire?
For DALI, From first controller to last luminaire, max 300m with daisy chain connection

• For NB, G3 has more benefits, 6.8% higher on the lux , and both consume wattage and cost are much lower.
• For WB, G3 is 2.3% lower on the lux, both consume wattage and cost are much lower. 2.3% lower is not very critical,
it could easily be solved, you may need to install more luminaires but will be very limited and the total cost and
energy saving are still higher.

Q&A
No WB designed for 29000lm version in G3
• G2 had 24k lumen WB version, it was improved to 27200lm due to the LED evolution, it was not designed to be.
• In most practical installations, 27500lm will be offered as NB for addressing lighting requirement in areas with very
high ceilings, that’s why we propose 400W HID with a NB reflector.
• Therefore, there is no practical installation which will demand 27klm with WB reflector.
