Voltage sensor:
Function:-
The Voltage Sensor block represents an ideal voltage sensor, that is, a device that
converts voltage measured between two points of an electrical circuit into a physical signal
proportional to the voltage. Connections + and – are electrical conserving ports through which
the sensor is connected to the circuit. Connection V is a physical signal port that outputs the
measurement result.
Current sensor:
The Current Sensor block represents an ideal current sensor, that is, a device that
converts current measured in any electrical branch into a physical signal proportional to the
current. Connections + and – are electrical conserving ports through which the sensor is
inserted into the circuit. Connection I is a physical signal port that outputs the measurement
result.

Conclusion:-
Different types of blocks which had been used in simulation process have been
described briefly in the theory portion. Input and output current with capacitor were same. For
without capacitor input and output currents were same but magnitude of 1st half cycle and the
rest cycles were not the same. Negative half cycle of output voltage with capacitor had been
rectified as described in the theory & the output were also same as described. When capacitor
was used, the output voltage were more near to dc voltage because capacitor reduced oscillation
through charging and discharging. In the simulation process ac voltage source with + and –
terminals were used, otherwise the source wouldn’t have been connected with the other circuit
elements.
