BM Analysis Process

1. Sort out normal call events from real call issues in the BM drive sheet

2. Arrange the sites in the table showing the cell details, time and type of event, RF
comment and resolution

3. Pull data for each issue cell for Cell Voice and BMG, use the event times and days to
streamline your query

4. Create Map Info availability plot using 2g cellwise EPT and cell availability statistics
from cell voice kpi

5. For each cell, do the following and note your findings

a. Check for alarms that were present at the time the test was conducted. Do this for
all the cells in one stretch to save time.

b. Check Map Info availability plot for any hub sites that were down at the time of
the test around the issue cell

c. Check KPI stats for TCH CONG, TCH DROP, SD CONG, SD DROP and OG HOSR
for the issue cells anything unusual

d. Check BMG data for the cell for diversity issues and uplink/downlink imbalance

e. Plot the issue point on Google Earth and check for any possible issue

f. If there are no issues after all these have been carefully executed, then keep the
cell under monitoring

6. Start and complete DT Analysis on areas with poor coverage.

7. Summarise KPI Issues and send
