CAMO Quality Engineer

Role Summary

Role purpose
The role of the CAMO Quality Engineer is to be available to perform the following CAMO Quality Management
System functions:
 Audit interfaces, including Aircraft Maintenance Organisation (AMO – External) and Continuing
Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO – Internal) Audits
 Evaluate/Investigate Maintenance / Error & Escape and Maintenance Overrun Events (AMO & CAMO) per
Local Procedures (includes ESR review)
 Processing Finding, Corrective and Preventative Actions in the Airline’s Safety Database (Intelex)
 Participate in and support VA investigations, and, in conjunction with Safety Systems (as required)
 Conduct Vendor Assessments and Approvals , as may be required
 Facilitate the VAA CAMO’s Management Safety and Risk Review Committee (MSRRC) Safety performance
Scorecard and report preparation
 Any other duties as directed by the CAMO Quality Leader
