Además de lo explicado aquí abajo, todos los días como rutina de clase se trabajarán
los saludos, días de la semana, meses del año y el tiempo atmosférico.

16/09/2013- 18/10/2013
- Topic: Back to school
- Objectives: To identify and use the vocabulary.
To understand questions and instructions.
To recognize and use numbers within an accurate pronunciation.
- Vocabulary: door, desk, computer, chair, pencilcase, crayons, rubber, sharpener, pen,
pencil, notebook, book, blackboard; numbers from 1 up to 20; in, on, under, next to, in
front of.
- Grammar: Present simple (verb to be). There is/are. Where is………….? How
many….? Touch/ point to/ give me/ show me……… Go next to… Stay in front of….

20/10/2013- 16/11/2013
- Topic: Things to wear.
- Objectives: To identify and produce the vocabulary.
To explain what someone is wearing.
- Vocabulary: shoes, trainers, sandals, socks, jeans, trousers, skirt, dress, tights, shirt, t-
shirt, jumper, jacket, gloves, scarf, hat, cap, glasses, pyjamas.
- Grammar: Possesives (my, your, her, his); Determinants (this, that, these, those).
Questions (What are you wearing?; What is he/she wearing?; What colour is this/that
cap?) Plural nouns.

( HALLOWEEN durante la semana del 21 al 30 de Octubre).

-Topic: The family


- Objectives: To identify and use the vocabulary related to the family.
To be able to give short descriptions about their own families.
- Vocabulary: mother, father, brother, sister, baby, grandpa, granny, aunt, uncle, cousin.
Simple adjectives: funny, polite, hard-working, lazy, clever.
- Grammar: Present simple verb to be. Pronouns.

Realizar pruebas orales para evaluar la adquisición de los contenidos.

CHRISTMAS

La semana después de Navidad podemos tratar el tema de los juguetes aunque no lo


pidan en Trinity, ya que ellos no querrán hablar de otra cosa y podemos aprovechar
para trabajar el vocabulario.

2nd TERM

- Topic: Pets
- Objectives:
- Vocabulary: dog, cat, bird, turtle, hamster, frog, fish...
- Grammar: Have you got any pet? Yes, I have….. No, I haven’t.
Verb CAN

Trabajar durante la primera semana de Febrero acerca de la celebración de St.


Valentine’s Day. Oportunidad para volver a hablar sobre la familia y amigos. Preparar
alguna pequeña manualidad como una tarjeta.

- Topic: The body


- Objectives: To use and produce the vocabulary related to the body.
To be able to describe themselves, their relatives, and friends.
- Vocabulary: Parts of the body and face (mouth, nose, ears, eyes, hair, head, arms,
shoulders, hands, legs, foot, feet, tooth, teeth, beard, moustache).
Adjectives for physical description ( big, small, tall, short, young, old, thin, fat, blond,
dark, ginger, curly, straight).
- Grammar: Have got in present simple. Questions: How does he/she look like?

3rd TERM

- Topic: At the farm


- Objectives: To use and pronounce properly the names of the animals that live at the
farm.
To use the verb CAN + fly, walk, swim, crawl to talk about those animals.
- Vocabulary: farm animals (cow, pig, sheep, hen, chicken, horse, goat, duck, dog, cat,
rabbit…)
- Grammar: There is/are…. Can a sheep fly/ run/ swim/ crawl?

- Topic: Wild animals


- Vocabulary: animals from the jungle and sea ( dolphin, whale, monkey,butterfly, parrot, lion,
tiger, flamingo, zebra, snake, elephant, crocodile, kangaroo, giraffe, …)

From 26/05/2014 up to Trinity Exam day Revision of contents and specific exam practice.
