 Synopsis
1. Working Title: A study on Manpower Planning and Recruitment Process in OHPC.
2. Purpose of the Research: The research work conducted to know the Manpower
Planning and Recruitment Process in OHPC and also to know the different components
relating to the Manpower management, Recruitment in OHPC. .
3. AIM: The research aim is to know the deviations in behavior of professionals of OHPC
for the Recruitment Process .
4. Objectives:
 To study the profile of People in OHPC and their views on Manpower Planning and
Recruitment Process
 Study to give an integrative or comparative picture of OHPC on the basis of the
analysis
5. Key Questions/ Research Questions:

(a) What is the profile of OHPC Employees

(b) To study Nature of current performance management system

(c) Perception of HR Professionals about performance management system

6. Hypothesis:
H0 = Customers perceive high priced shampoo brands are good
H1 = Customers does not perceive high priced shampoo brands are good
7. Research Methodology:
Methodology used for this research is based on the college going girls being taken
as respondents. Secondary data are collected from the different sources like electronic
and print medium respectively and the sources mentioned in references. Primary data are
collected from the respondents through questionnaire method. Depending upon the type
of questions in questionnaire sample size of 100 is quite adequate for the research.
 Sampling procedure used for this research is convenient one. Statistical Tools like
tabulation, weighted average mean and factor analysis are being used for the data
analysis.
8. Proposed Contents:
This research project contains the following chapters. It starts with chapter-I
which contains introduction of the research topic, objectives taken for the topic,
methodology used for the work and limitations of the research work. Secondly it contains
the chapter-II named as Brief literature review which describes the secondary data related
to those areas of research. Thirdly it follows the chapter-III which explains the analysis of
the data collected through the questionnaire method only. Fourthly it follows the chapter-
IV which gives the suggestion for the entire research report by considering the primary as
well as the secondary data. Finally the bibliography and annexure which contains the
references and sample questionnaire.
9. Work Plan: Weeks Plan (10th June to 20th July )
1st week: Pilot Survey and Selection of topic for research
2nd to 5th: Office Work
5th to 6th: Data Coding and Data Tabulation and Use of Statistical Tools for data analysis
6th to 7th: Report preparation and finalization
