Description of Change to the Customer:

The Intel Ethernet Server Adapter X520-SR1/SR2/LR1 product family
(Spring Fountain Retail & OEM generic) and the Intel Ehternet SFP+ SR
Optic Kit (Spring Fountain SR optic kit) will undergo the following
changes:

To increase the strength of our SR Optic bails the plastic bail delatch
will be replaced by a wire bail delatch. (shown in the picture below,
top is wire, bottom is plastic).
Customers can now expect to receive the Spring Fountain Networking
Adapter optics or the SR Optic kit with either one of the following
mfg. part numbers listed on the optic module label.

The first line of the optic label will change as noted in the table
above.

As a result of these changes, the TA (top assembly) and PBA (printed

board assembly) numbers will roll as noted in the affected products
table with this PCN notice. If TA/PBA numbers are printed on any
product or box labels, those will show the dash roll as well.

Customer Impact of Change and Recommended Action:

The new wired bail has been fully qualified.

Customers might expect to receive mixed inventory from either supplier

part number when ordering Optic kits.
