Neurological Society (SFNS) and The California Neurology Society (CNS). The SFNS is accredited by the Institute for Medical

 President’s Message
The California Neurology Society (CNS) is
pleased to present its NeuroRheumatology
Symposium on May 1 and 2, 2015 at the Fess
Parker in lovely and scenic Santa Barbara,
California. The NeuroRheumatology Symposium is
unique in that it is the first conference dedicated to
rheumatic/autoimmune diseases and their
neurological presentations. We have all had the
complicated patient with neurological complaints
where the question of an underlying
rheumatic/autoimmune disease comes to mind.
Furthermore, when there is an underlying rheumatic
disease in the neurological presentation, what is the
proper evaluation and treatment? Attending this
conference should answer such questions for the
practicing physician.
The CNS presents experts in neurology and
rheumatology from many of the major institutions
of both Northern and Southern California to assist
the physician in his/her neurorheumatological
evaluation. The NeuroRheumatology program will
provide the physician with up to 16 CME credits for
a very reasonable registration fee. There will be
time for networking, viewing exhibits and the
option to attend a special dinner presentation on
Jean Martin Charcot and NeuroRheumatology.
If there is one conference that you should attend
this year, make it the NeuroRheumatology
Symposium. You will augment your diagnostic
skills, medical knowledge and therapeutic
capabilities in the evaluation of such challenging
problems for the practicing neurologist,
rheumatologist, primary care physician, etc. I hope
