K-12 SCHOOL MEDIA WORKSHOP, a project of the Bertelsmann Foundation, New York, NY 2000 - 2004
EXPERIENCE Technology and Media Education Consultant for New York City Public Schools
Provided technology staff development to schools. Co-taught with teachers in their
classrooms in order to model ways to integrate media and technology into the
curriculum. Taught middle school and high school students how to develop
multimedia projects during after-school workshops and summer institutes.

Lead Teacher in a Pre-College Program
Taught an applied chemistry and basic chemical engineering class for eighth-grade girls
as part of the Women in Engineering and Technology Program, designed to inspire girls
to enter math and science fields. Developed an integrated curriculum with subject
teachers in math, computers, and communications.

Led a team responsible for training and communications associated with the
implementation of a sales and marketing system. Developed a communication plan

analyzed team productivity, and wrote a weekly status report for management.

Proposed a training approach that would optimize employees' job performance.
Developed presentations for senior client management to demonstrate the
effectiveness of a performance-based training model.
Business Consultant at a Chemical Company
Facilitated meetings with training management to discuss options to improve the
training process. Conducted training workshops on a sales, distribution, and
manufacturing computer system.
