IT Support / Multimedia Specialist
California State University, Office of the Chancellor May 2012 – Present
- Design, build, configure, test, service, troubleshoot and operate a variety of
custom and integrated audiovisual systems for use in an array of multimedia
production environments.
- Coordinate room and resource scheduling, testing, and troubleshooting for
webcast, communication and collaboration systems and platforms.
- Lead and provide technical support, coordination for on- and off-site events
including audiovisual presentations, lighting, recording, transcription, room and
equipment setup, and miscellaneous support as required.
- Provide support for department ticketing, monitoring, and phone systems.
- Provide coverage for after hours on-call support as required.

Co-develop requirements with multiple teams and oversee implementation for

- Dumke Auditorium, Winter 2012. Upgrade of analog standard definition video
production system to digital high definition. Worked with consultants and
contractors to develop system design, workflow, supervise installation, and
provide clarification on technical topics to owner/client team members.

Systems Programmer
Audiovisions (a Best Buy Company) Oct 2009 – April 2012
- Program and commission custom audiovisual control systems for the
residential, hospitality, and corporate sectors.
- Collaborate with other departments to verify system specification
documentation for given projects, and reconcile any discrepancies found.
- Collaborate with other Trades to integrate 3rd party control systems for
communication and control via other control systems.
- Modify and rework existing source code from in-house and 3rd party integrators
for use with new products or increased functionality of existing systems.
- Present and implement new/simplified programming methodologies for
increased efficiency in standardized programming practices.
- Verify and test new products for compatibility with existing system standards,
present reviews to other departments.
- Attessa III, Spring 2012. 225’ long luxury yacht with 11 zones of video
encompassing 5 staterooms, 4 salons, a cinema, and a crew lounge. Project
required reverse engineering of existing and undocumented audio, video,
lighting, and paging systems to develop and implement new project scope.
- Argyros Residence, Summer 2010. 24,000 sq. ft. private residence with 30
zones of audio, 13 zones of video, 38 user interfaces for system control, various
3rd party integration. Program delivered on-time and under budget.
Lead Programmer/Systems Engineer
Acromedia Construction/Multi-Media Consulting Feb 2007 – June 2009
- Design, program, commission, and manage production of custom audiovisual
control systems for the arts, education, and entertainment sectors.
- Design signal flow diagrams based off specification documentation (developed
in-house or by 3rd party consultants) for use by project managers, field
technicians, and programmers for use in building a given system
- Manage field technicians in order to make the best use of technicians’ time,
skill, and workload while working towards a given goal.

classroom/boardroom with six displays for around-the-room viewing and an
emphasis on video and teleconferencing via 34 microphones, 6 cameras,
controlled via presenter or control booth operator touchpanels.
- San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino, Summer 2008. Upgrade of existing casino
floor and back of house display system to high definition, adding a 42”
touchpanel for central control of all display content. Created a unified display
reference system for use in system maintenance and specific use-cases.
- The Pines Steakhouse - San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino, Spring 2008.
Multipurpose space designed for use as a fine dining experience, lounge/night
club, sports bar, and configurable meeting space(s).

Geek Squad Counter Intelligence Agent (CIA), Best Buy Co., Inc. July 2006 – Jan 2007
