The Service of Light

The light of Christ, bestowed on us at our Baptism and carried with us throughout our lives,
reminds us that we are commissioned to dispel the darkness and bring light into the world.
We are confident that with God as our light, all doubt, all fear, and all uncertainty is driven out.

We entrust this candle to each member of the Class of 2016

as we send him out to spread God’s love, and live in the light.

P ROCESSION OF L IGHT May the Road Rise to Meet You

Lori True (b.1951)

P RAYER FOR G ENEROSITY St. Ignatius of Loyola

Dear Lord,
Teach me to be generous.
Teach me to serve you as you deserve.
To give and not to count the cost,
to fight and not to heed the wounds,
to toil and not to seek for rest,
to labor and not to ask for any reward,
save that of knowing that I do your will.
Amen.
