Course Outcome
At the end of this course, students should be able to:
• Describe the characteristics and the manufacturing principles of a composite structures
• Define the important physical phenomena observed during composites processing
• Explain the interactions between the phenomena during composite processing
• Evaluate processing costs and select the best manufacturing method for a application
• Set and optimize process parameters

The quiz tests will be closed book and will consist of comprehension questions and short problems.
The project will be done individually based on a couple of recently published papers and will
consist of a final report and/or one oral presentation.
