ENDOWMENT FUND SCHOLARSHIP

EDUCATION AND LITERACY DEPARTMENT GOVERNMENT OF
SINDH

We are pleased to inform that Government of Sindh – Education & Literacy Department has announced
“Endowment Fund Scholarship Scheme” to support needy & meritorious students of Sindh seeking education
BBA, BS(CS), BS(A&F), BS(EM), BS(SS) and MBA
in Institute of higher education for
programs students (Full Time) admitted in Spring/Fall 2018.
Eligibility Procedure:

1. Attached the first entry admission form submitted by the students at the time of admission along
with the endowment form for scholarship otherwise the application form will not be accepted.
2. The applicant should be domicile and permanent residence certificate of Sindh.
3. Fresh applicants/Students must have secured admission in Academic year 2018. The students who
had obtained admission in academic year 2017 or before are not eligible to apply for Scholarship.
4. The students who were already awarded scholarship may also apply for renewal along with the
present result (GPA/CGPA).
5. The Annual net income (from all sources) of full time Students’ Parents / guardians should not be
more than Rs. 1,200,000/- (Rupees twelve lacs only). Income certificates should be certified by the
concerned “Assistant Commissioner, Revenues”. Income certificate verified by any other officer will
not be accepted.
6. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear before a Selection Committee for Interview. Selection will
be based on the recommendation of Selection Committee on the criteria approved by “Sindh
Endowment Fund Board”.
7. 5% Seats are reserved for the Children of Government Primary, Secondary & Higher Secondary
School Teachers.
8. 2% Seats are reserved for the Children of Employees of Sindh Government.
9. The applicants applied under above-mentioned children quota should be required to submit a Service
Certificate of his/her parent duly issued by the Head of the Institution / Department.
10. Incomplete applications will not be entertained. Required documents (attested) must be enclosed.
Giving wrong / incomplete information will disqualify the candidates for Scholarship.

Students who meet the above criteria and wish to apply for scholarship are hereby informed that Scholarship
Application form may be obtained from “THE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE OFFICE, ROOM NO. 9, GROUND
FLOOR FAUJI FOUNDATION BUILDING, IBA MAIN CAMPUS.

All interested students are also advised to:

 Obtain an endorsement by the IBA Financial Assistance Office on the application form.
 Submit the application form along with the required documents as specified in the application form
by January 15TH, 2019 (closing date) to the office of the Financial Assistance.
