Meta-ethics
Is like the base fir know if something moral it is good or not
Three forms of moral
1. Absolutism: There are absolute standards against which moral questions can be
judged.
2. Relativism: More than one moral position or given topic can be correct
3. Subjectivism: Moral statement can be true or false- right or wrong- but they refer only
to people’s attitudes rather than their actions.
 Descriptive and normative cultural relativism
People’s moral belief differ from culture to culture
 Normative
It’s not your beliefs, but moral facts themselves that differ from culture to culture

rather than their actions.
Concept of an ethical theory
Have some kind of starting assumptions, which shouldn’t be surprising, because really all of
our beliefs rest on some basic, assumed beliefs.

Moral absolutism
It is fine the immigration just if it is too seeking better opportunities without breaking laws
such as going to sell drugs to another country or something illegal. (article 15).
Moral relativism
I can try to regulate the migration of my country but I cannot prevent it permanently as if it
were something illegal and that has to be punished with the law. (article 38)
Moral Subjectivism
It is correct if they leave the country to live another while they are not criminals so that they
do not cause problems in other country.
