Cape Town. He teaches and researches in cement and concrete
materials engineering. He is also Chairman of the Cement and
Concrete Institute of South Africa.he has published more than 50 book
chapter and worked for many clienteles , including the PPC cement
,SIKA south Africa.

Hans-dieter Beushausen is Associate Professor Civil Engineering in

Cape Town university of South Africa. Hans Beushausen joined the
University of Cape Town in 1999 after having finished his first degree in
Structural Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences (HAW)
Hamburg, Germany.. He currently holds the position of Senior Lecturer
in the Department of Civil Engineering.He is a member of the Concrete
Materials & Structural Integrity Research Unit (CoMSIRU) at UCT.

Frank Dehn is lecturer in MFPA Leipzig university of Germany . Pilate

Moyo is an Associate Professor graduated with a BSc. Honours in Civil
Engineering from the University of Zimbabwe in 1992, a MSc. and a PhD
(Structural Engineering) from Nanyang Technological University,
Singapore, in 2002. Pilate has worked as a Civil Engineer for the City of
Bulawayo.He was appointed Senior Lecturer at the University of Cape
Town in April 2003.
