To Whom it May Concern,

It is my pleasure to write this letter of reference on behalf of my dedicated employee,

Megan Pfeiffer, an exceptional and talented Certified Nursing Assistant. I have had the
privilege of working with Megan since October 2016 and have often been impressed with
her eagerness for improvement. I admire her comfort in leadership, regardless of the
situation or task, and the tremendously positive energy that she brings to her work and
role, is outstanding.

The strengths that I find notable include Megan’s ability to effectively convey
accountability that is laced with empathy, her strong communication skills, and how
eagerly she approaches new tasks and responsibilities as they come up, without allowing
her day-to-day items to slip or fall behind. Megan is a tremendous resource to her team, to
ACUTE, as well as to Denver Health as a whole, and would excel in future roles that allow
her to continue to develop and grow. It is my sincerest hope that Megan be accepted into
your educational program and given the opportunity and education that she feels inclined
to strive for.

If you have any questions or would like to know more about my experiences working with
Megan, please do not hesitate to contact me at 303-602-4216 or anne.karna@dhha.org.

Sincerely,

Anne M. Karna BSN, RN-BC

To Whom It May Concern,

This letter serves as a letter of recommendation for Megan Pfeiffer. Megan volunteered
at Denver Health from November 2015 and donated 126 hours of her time. Megan
assisted with the Medical Intensive Care Unit as well as the Medical Surgery Unit. It was
obvious as she began as a volunteer she was passionate and dedicated to the medical
field.

Megan is an exceptional individual; she is the type of volunteer that I search for every
day. She is compassionate, intelligent, dedicated and has the ability to get along with
everyone no matter the demographic profile. From rounding on patients, running errands
to answering call lights, Megan is willing to do anything to support our staff and was one
of our most consistent volunteers. I believe she truly values her experience here at
Denver Health and compared to our other volunteers, Megan is truly a step above.

I have no doubt she will be successful in whatever field she chooses to pursue. Please do
not hesitate to contact me should you have any further questions regarding her character
or skills.

Sincerely,

Shaikha Rasmussen
