Introduction to the Programme

The Think Big…Think Tourism Programme is a results focused and practical programme which is
being run by Full Circle Management Solutions Ltd, on behalf of Coleraine Borough Council and the
European Regional Development Fund under the Sustainable Competitiveness Programme for
Northern Ireland 2007 – 2013.

The programme aims to offer flexible and tailored business support to owner-managers of tourism-
focused businesses within the Coleraine area to:

Adopt Best Practice business ideas.

Manage their businesses more effectively.
Plan for the future with confidence.
Achieve business growth

The programme is therefore designed to provide businesses with the tools, the confidence and the
expertise to really maximise their potential.
What does the Programme consist of?
There are 3 distinct but interlinked elements of the Think Big ....Think Tourism Programme. These
are:

Who should consider applying?

Any business in the Coleraine Council area that has a focus on tourism. Examples here include but
are not restricted to:

Accommodation providers – hotels, guest houses, B+Bs and caravan parks.

Golf clubs and sports / water sports clubs.
Family attraction businesses.
Restaurants and bars.
Craft shops and other retailers that are tourism-focused.
How much does it cost?
Coleraine Borough Council and the European Regional Development Fund under European
Sustainable Competitiveness Programme for Northern Ireland is investing heavily in this Programme
to support participating businesses to maximise growth opportunities. Participants will receive over
£2,600 worth of consultancy support for the subsidised rate of only £199 +VAT.
