Question: Was or WERE + Subject + Verb in Ing
To talk about action that are in progress at a specific time in the past
Was is pronounced as /wɒz / Were as /w:3/ wasn’t as /wɒznt/ and weren’t as

a person doing an action in the past that was interrupted but another action also in the
past.
