NOTICE : CALLING OF TENDER FOR AWARDING LICENSE TO RUN CATERING UNITS AT
A & B CATEGORY STATIONS (GMU) OVER TIRUCHCHIRAPPALLI DIVISION.

The undersigned invites Sealed Tender Under two packet system on behalf of the
President of India from the reputed/professional caterers for running the Catering Units at A & B
(GMU) Category Stations Over Tiruchchirappalli Division for a period of Five (5) years from the
date of award on license basis. The success full tenderer has to pay the Security Deposit at
10% (ten percent) of the total License fee for the entire duration of the License.
The details of Station, Name of the Unit, Location of the unit, Indicative License fee per
annum, Earnest Money Deposit, Cost of Tender (including 12%GST) are enclosed as
Annexure GMU.
The Tender form can be obtained from the Office of the Sr. Divisional Commercial
Manager, Southern Railway, Tiruchchirappalli during the working hours between 10.00hrs to
17.00 hrs on all working days (from Monday to Friday) on payment of non-refundable cost of
tender form (document fee Inclusive GST) (Rupees ----- only) at Sr. Divisional Cashier
(Revenue), Southern Railway, Tiruchchirappalli.
The Tender Form can also be downloaded from the website
www.sr.indianrailways.gov.in and in such case, a demand draft for ` ----- (Rupees ------ only)
drawn in favour of Sr. Divisional Finance Manager, Southern Railway, Tiruchchirappalli should
be enclosed along with tender form.
Separate sealed Tender should be submitted for each unit in the cover super scribed as
“TENDER FOR CONTRACT FOR RUNNING ------------------------------------ at -----------------------
Junction. Railway reserves the rights to accept or reject any or every tender without assigning
any reason. For further details, please contact the office of the undersigned on any working
day.
Last date for sale of Tender form : 27.12.2018 (Up to 11.00 hrs)
Last date for submission of Tender form: 28.12.2018 (between 10.00 to 11.00 hrs)
Time & date of Tender Opening is on :-28.12.2018 at 11.30 hrs.
The Tender must be accompanied by Earnest Money Deposit as shown in the
Annexure GMU in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘Sr. Divisional Finance
Manager, Southern Railway, Tiruchchirappalli” payable at Tiruchchirappalli drawn on any
Nationalized/Scheduled Banks.
