and stroll effortlessy from one job to

What makes this remarkably low
weight possible is an inverter
technology with an operating
frequency of 100 kHz that achieves an
electricial efficiency of 88%.
Not only is the machine easier to carry
to where you need it, but it’s easier to
use once you get there - thanks to its
superb ignition and welding
characteristics. Minimised current
ripple is the key here. The integrated
Arc Force Control makes it easy for
you to weld coarse-droplet electrodes
as well, since the welding current is
automatically increased whenever
there is any short-circuiting.
An additional anti-stick device prevents
the electrodes burning out if the tips stick.
As you would expect of a Fronius
machine, the Transpocket 1400 also
has a high duty cycle - 35 % at 140 A
welding current and 40° C ambient
temperatur - which makes continuous
welding of rod electrodes much more fun!
A word about design: When it comes
to good looks and good functionality,
the Transpocket 1400 meets the most
exacting requirements imaginable. The
controls have been completely
rearranged to make the machine even
simpler to use, and are now grouped in
a clear, easy-to-see way in a
protective recess.
