ACTIVITIES:
INDUCTION SET 1. Let pupils to write down name of places they can see in their community.
School, hospital, market, supermarket.etc
PRE LISTENING AND Let’s Talk
SPEAKING 1.Refer to picture ( Page 1 –Textbook)
2.Talk about the picture
Understanding of oral texts by asking and answering questions.
What can you see? Who lives her?
How do the people get around? What do the people do for a living?

1. Rewrite a poem in cursive writing.
2. Write in cursive writing precisely.

INDUCTION SET 1. Give pupils a piece of paper and asks them to rewrite the displayed sentences with
a beautiful and creative handwriting.
2. Teacher shows some example of cursive writing.
PRE WRITING Let’s write (page 5)
1. Explain about the cursive writing.
The rules ( refer to textbook)
2. Demonstrate the cursive writing on the board.
3. Practise.
4. Explain briefly the history of cursive writing

2. Ask pupils to name them.

1. Practice the dialogue
2. Asks pupils to say out the words in bold.
3. Explain to the pupils the words in bold are example of COMMON NOUNS.
5. Get more examples of common nouns from pupils by referring to their
surroundings.
