MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

Between
UET SCIENCE SOCIETY
(“The Society”)
AND
“ A1 CARS ” (as platinum sponsor )
(“The Sponsor”)

This Memorandum of Understanding is made effective as of 18-Feb-2017 (“the Effective Date”).

This Memorandum of Understanding (“Memorandum”) establishes the terms and conditions
pertaining to the sponsorship of the event, which have been mutually agreed upon by the
Society and the Sponsor.

Background
The Society is conducting an event, for which it requires funding and/or resources from the
Sponsor.
The Sponsor desires to avail marketing and publicity opportunities, provided by the Society, at
the event.

Purpose
The purpose of this Memorandum is to provide a framework for collaboration between the
Society and the Sponsor. This Memorandum outlines terms and conditions to be agreed upon
by the Society and the Sponsor, for the duration of the Memorandum.

The event, which is conducted by the Society, will get funded by the sponsor, and the sponsor
may use the event as a platform for marketing activities.

Understandings

Therefore, both parties agree to the terms and conditions listed below:

1. The Sponsor will ensure that funds and/or resources are assigned to the Society within a
specific duration (3 weeks) following the Effective Date.
 2. The Society shall publicize the Sponsor by posting its logo on all printed material like
(tickets and flex) and on all digital content (including social media posts) pertaining to
the event.
3. The Society will endeavor to project a positive image for the Sponsor through, both,
online and printed content.
4. The society shall provide stall on event dates i-e 18-20 April 2017 . Event timings and
location of the stall have to follow by the company which is provided by the society.
5. The society shall provide stage time of 15 minutes .
6. The society shall provide mention the event name as All Pakistan science fest in
association with or powered by “A1 CARS“ on their Flexes and publicity material.
7. The society shall verbal mentions during all social events.
8. The society shall provide name of sponsor engraved on the shields.
9. The society shall distribute promotional items given by sponsors.
10. The society shall take interview of A1 cars C.E.O or any representative as a promotion of
the company.
11. The society shall announce A1 cars as transport partner on social media.
12. The society shall promote A1 cars app.

In Return

A1 cars shall provide following things to the society that listed below.

1. The Sponsor shall be committed to provide the Society monetary support worth Rs.
2,50,000/- (one lac and thirty thousand Rupees only.)
2. A1 cars shall market our event, posts at A1 cars social media.
3. A1 cars shall send promotional SMS of UETSS to their customers.
4. A1 cars shall distribute society flyers, broachers, gift items, promotional magazines
on behalf of society.
5. A1 cars shall offer UET students internships and jobs.
6. A1 cars shall provide 01 Free Ride for every participant who have event pass or
ticket of all Pakistan science exhibition in a given time frame of 04-april-2017 to 22-
april-2017 to the society as promo code “UETSS”.
Duration

This MOU may be modified by mutual consent of authorized officials from the Society and the
Sponsor. This MOU shall become effective upon signature by the authorized officials from the
Society and the Sponsor, and will remain in effect until modified or terminated by any one of
the partners by mutual consent. In the absence of mutual agreement by the authorized officials
from the Society and the Sponsor, this MOU shall end on 21-april-2017.

In case of cancellation of event due to security concerns or any other incident society shall
return the given amount to company. But in case of cancellation of deal by the company society
shall not be responsible to return any amount to the company. Company will be responsible for
his act.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, by the signatures below, the parties have caused this Memorandum to
be executed and effective as of the Effective Date.
