What Do You Think is The Best Way for Children to Learn: Actively or Passively?
There are different ways to learn, such as through asking question (actively) or through
listening and watching (passively). I think it is easier for children to learn when they are
active because their imagination or creative process is better. It is fact that children learn
better when they ask questions and work in groups. Our common sense tells us that
children learn better when they feel motivation and commitment. I believe the active way is
the best option to learn because it involves three important educational methods such as
In order to learn best, children must be actively involved in hands-on activities everyday.
Some good examples of hand-on activities are: working puzzles, making collages, painting,
cooking, playing board games, etc. Children are always eager to learn and to do new things
other than what we are trying to teach them. They have to be motivated with and
enthusiastic teachers who are always giving them new activities that they can do.
Another method of learning actively is by asking questions. Children will be motivated
with their questions, and their brains will come up with more ideas for them. For that

By using the active way of learning, children will develop their self-confidence.
Children are always naturally curious and when they are in an active way of learning, they
will feel comfortable playing with their imagination. When children learn to receive new
thoughts, they receive encouragement which helps them to develop their self-confidence.
In conclusion there are a lot of methods that children can learn. However, the best
method for children to learn is by learning actively for three reasons: they will be motivated
in hands-on activities, learn faster by making their own questions, and will develop their
