Eligibility Criteria for Master of Design
CRITERION 1 – AGE LIMIT
 Upper age limit for candidates is 30 years of age (relax able by three years for reserved
category) on or before July 1, 2018.
 General category applicants: Candidates born before on or before July, 1988 are not eligible.
Reserved category applicants (OBC-NCL, SC, ST & PH) candidates born on or before July 1, 1985
are not eligible.
CRITERION 2- EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
Applicants must either have appeared or passed, or will be appearing in any of the following, before July
2018.
 Bachelors degree in any discipline under the 10+2+4 (or more) system, from any university or
institute recognized (by law) in India.
 Diploma in Design under the 10+2+4 system, from any university or institute recognized (by law)
in India.
OR
 Applicants must either have passed or appeared (results awaited), in the following, before July
2018.
 Bachelor’s degree in any discipline under the 10+2+3 system, from any university or institute
recognized (by law) in India.

years programmer after 10+2)
 Professional Diploma in Design (NID/CEPT or equivalent of 4 years programmer after 10+2)
 B.F.A. (4 Year professional programme, after 10+2)
 G.D. Art (5 year programme after 10th) with one year post qualification professional
experience
 Master’s degree in Arts/Science/Computer Applications (2 year programmer after 10+2+3)
Note: Candidates with 3 years Bachelor’s degree are not eligible
Age Limit: There is no age limit to appear for CEED

Undergraduate Diploma of minimum 3 years duration from NIFT/NID.
3. Master of Fashion Technology (M.F.Tech)
