CALLING FOR QUOTATION FOR LOCAL PURCHASE OF EDIBLE OIL

1. Quotations are invited by the Officer Commanding, Supply Company ASC, Jaisalmer for the
following item meeting the Defence Food Specification No -171 as mentioned below:-

2. Quoted rates for the above item required to be purchased locally by this coy on most
economical and competitive rates inclusive of incidental charges for delivery of supplies at Supply
Company ASC Jaisalmer exclusive of taxes (GST/VAT) as directed by Officer Commanding, Supply
Company ASC Jaisalmer.

3. Request for Proposal/Tender Enquiry (RFP/TE) as per Defence Procurement Manual

(DPM) : 2009 is enclosed herewith. The RFP divided into five parts as follows :-

(a) Part -I : General Information.

(b) Part-II : Essential Details of items/Services required.

(c) Part-III : Standard Conditions of RFP, which will be form part of the contract.

(d) Part IV : Special Conditions applicable to this RFP and which will also form part of
the contract.

(f) Part V : Evaluation Criteria & Price Bid Issues.

4. General conditions of supplies are as under:-

(a) The supplies must confirm to Defence Food Specification No-171.

(b) The quotations should be valid for one month from last date of submission of the
quotation.

(c) Payment will be credited through NEFT to Bank account for which Bank Mandate
Form will be provided by your firm at the time of supply of items.

(d) The buyer reserves the right to reduce the quantity to be procured before placing
final supply order and no compensation will be claimed if demand is reduced due to any
circumstances.

5. Product sample as per the defence food specification enclosed as per Part-IV, Para 6 of
RFP/TE should be delivered at Supply Company prior to the opening of quotation. No quotation
without sample will be considered in the tendering process.
