The Power of Know How

Operation Zero point adjustment
For the PMP 131 with analog output and
plug, the zero point can be adjusted to
±5%. The potentiometer used for this
adjustment is located below the plug
base.

General Specifications Manufacturer Endress+Hauser

Instrument designation Cerabar T PMP 131

Application Measuring absolute and gauge pressure of gases, vapors and liquids

Function and system design Measuring principle

With analog output The process pressure acting upon the metallic
separating diaphragm of the sensor is transmitted to a
resistance bridge via a fluid. The change in the output
voltage of the bridge is proportional to the pressure
and can be measured directly.
With switch output The process pressure acting upon the metallic
separating diaphragm of the sensor is transmitted to a
resistance bridge via a fluid. A differential amplifier
creates a standard signal from the pressure-
proportional change in output voltage of the bridge. A
comparator with an adjustable deadband compares
this signal with the pre-set switch point and then
activates the power amplifier and the LED.
Design Analog output: pressure sensor is optionally supplied
with DIN 43650 A / ISO 4400 plug or cable
Switch output: pressure transmitter supplied with plug
DIN 43650 A / ISO 4400 (refer to page 3)
