ABSTRACT

GAMES BOOK AS MEDIA FOR INCREASING INTEREST READ


LEARNING ON INDONESIAN SMP HIGH CLASS

Games Book is a series of teachers teaching methods, in order to hang the material to the
students, by way of the game. The game is tucked in a book, in the book there are variations in
different types of games that allow students interested and followed him. Media Games Book
is a new alternative, which aims to anticipate and aims to increase interest in reading,
especially on Indonesian subjects in primary school. Based on research in class SMP
Pesantren Cintawana media Games Book turned out very well suited high class. For example
the sample, the results of research on high grade, showed an increase in the creativity of
students, active students and students' response to Indonesian subjects. Learning becomes
more attractive, conducive, and efficient. Changes students also shown by the various actions
that the students are more critical, independent, and able to establish interaction and
cooperation with other students. It is hoped the discovery of Educational Innovation-based
learning media through the concept of Games Book, is expected to change the paradigm of
elementary school students, and trying to increase interest in reading either on Indonesian
subjects and in all subjects in elementary firs Highet school
