Kotak Securities LTD Customer Satisfaction of Stock Broking Firms May 2018 – Jun 2018
Researched about top stock broking firms in India, benchmarked them on 5 parameters and
shortlisted 3 of them basis their market share and geographical presence for research work
Conducted primary research on 200 de-mat account holders of the shortlisted 3 stock broking
firms in Bangalore
Interviewed respondents face to face and collected various quantitative data to understand
issues faced while dealing with stock broking firms during on-boarding, training, trading, etc
Analysed data collected using statistical tools on excel to identify root cause for majority of the
issues faced
Identified inability of terminal to function on slow internet speed and lack of technical
knowledge among customers were the major reasons for most dissatisfaction cases
Recommended company to deploy more customer relationship managers with hands on
knowledge of customer trading terminal

Compared print advertisement of 3 different car manufacturers, interviewed 20 car owners and
analysed sales data. Concluded Mahindra XUV used a bold & macho communication to segment
the market

Conducted ratio analysis for last 3 years on data from Annual Report , compared inventory
turnover ratio, Return on Assets & Equity, Debt to Asset ratios, etc. Concluded health has
deteriorated in last 3 years
Optimisation of Delivery Agents of a Hyperlocal Delivery Company Jan 2018
Analysed delivery time, number of orders fulfilled per day, average distance travelled per
delivery. Created new delivery plan with 50% reduction in distance travelled resulting into 20%
cost savings
