mesmerized by the detailing of the swirls and the light colors van Gogh used. This spiked

my interest in van Gogh two years ago and led me to decide to do my history fair on him.

Gogh's letters to his brother. In this letter he talks about being depressed but having art as

a way to cope. This highlights part of the tragedy that Van Gogh endured through his

lifetime.

This is one of Van Gogh's many landscape paintings. I picked it because I enjoyed the

colors and it reminded me of another one of his paintings.

just how Van Gogh's work has effected people all over the world. It specifically focuses

on Arles, France, a small town that he stumbled upon. He ended up living there and

creating many paintings based upon the town.

shows the relationship between Vincent and his father as well as showing us more in

my initial research to learn more about Van Gogh. It provided a nice brief description

allowing me to get to know Van Gogh better.

accurately describes Van Gogh's tragic life. It traces all the places Van Gogh traveled

throughout his entire life and shows many of his paintings.
