DEFENDANT

I, ALBERT S FONTANILLA, of legal age, married, and living at Barangay

Pinagkaisahan, Cubao, Quezon City, is the father of the respondent in this case, after
having been duly sworn, hereby attests that:

PRELIMINARY STATEMENT

The person examining me is Atty. Marco O. Arpon with office address at 21 Aurora
Boulevard, Quezon City. The examination is being held at the same address. I am
answering his questions fully conscious that I do so under oath and may face criminal
liability for false testimony and perjury.

PURPOSE: This affidavit/testimony of respondent ALBERT S FONTANILLA is being

offered to prove that the respondent is of good moral character and a good father of the
family.

1. Q. Please state your name and other personal circumstances for the record.
A. I am ALBERT S. FONTANILLA, 60 years old, father of the respondent.

2. Q. How are you related to ANDREW S. FONTANILLA, the petitioner in this

case?
A. I am his father.

3. Q. Do you know a certain JOANNE R. FONTANILLA?

A. Yes sir, she was the wife of my son Andrew S. Fontanilla

4. Q. When and where did you meet JOANNE R. FONTANILLA?

A. She was introduced to us by my son when they obtain my advise that they
will get married.

5. Q. How long have you been with your son?

A. My wife and I raised Andrew since birth he lived with us until the day he
decided to get married, that is the time he left our home to go with Joanne
R. Fontanilla and establish a family life.

6. Q. During the time Andrew was living at your home what did you observe
from him?
A. He was a good and obedient child. He never get to trouble and seek our
advise when he had problems. We instilled and taught him good morals
and right conduct and to respect every person.

7. Q. You mentioned he seek your advice whenever he had problems, can you
elaborate on this?
A. Yes sir, during his married life Andrew will pay a visit on me and tell me
how he felt with her wife, he felt inferior because ever since he lost his job
his wife Joanne tells him that she married the wrong person.

8. Q. Do you know the reason why he lost his job?

A. Yes, he was underperforming his job and the management had to retrench
on the number of employees.

9. Q. Why are you testifying in this case?

A. To clear the name of my son and to prove that he was a good person.

me his Driver’s License issued on 2016 at Quezon City, as valid and competent proof of
her identity, known to me as the same person who personally signed the foregoing
judicial affidavit before me and avowed under penalty of law to the veracity of the
contents of said instrument.

I, ATTY. MARCO O. ARPON, of legal age, Filipino, with office

address at 21 Aurora Boulevard, Quezon City after being duly sworn depose and say:

1. I was the one who conducted the examination of witness Andrew S

Fontanilla at my afore-stated office.

2. I have faithfully recorded or caused to be recorded the questions I asked and

the corresponding answer that the witness gave;

3. Neither I nor any other person then present or assisting her coached the
witness regarding her answers;
