    As the Earth spins, the solar time is not the same in all
    parts of the world; in some areas of the Earth it is sunrise
    and in others it is dark. For that reason, the world is divided
    into 24 zones that are called time zones.

    1 Look at the map of time zones. The Prime Meridian serves as a reference to add or
    subtract hours if we travel the around the planet in any direction. The map shows three
