ORDER:
Whereas, Sri Tenali Anand Kumar, the then General Manager, District
Industries Center, Adilabad (presently working as GM, DIC, Ongole,
Prakasam District) who was trapped by the ACB authorities on 19.08.2010
was found guilty by the Spl. Judge for SPE & ACB Cases, Karimnagar for the
offences punishable
(i) under section 7 and 13(1)(d) read with 13(2) of the Prevention
of Corruption Act,1988 and he is convicted under section 248(2) of
Cr.P.C. and sentenced to suffer Rigorous imprisonment for two years
and he shall pay a fine of Rs. 5,000/-for the offence under section 7 of
prevention of corruption act 1988, in default of payment of fine, he
shall undergo simple imprisonment for a period of three months and
(ii) he is also sentenced to suffer Rigorous imprisonment for Two
Years and shall pay a fine of Rs.5,000/- for the offence under section
13(1)(d) read with 13(2) of P.C.Act,1988, in default of payment of
fine, he shall undergo simple imprisonment for a period of three
months.
(iii) Both the substantive sentences of imprisonment imposed
against accused shall run concurrently.

2. And whereas, it is considered that the conduct of Sri Tenali Anand

Kumar, the then General Manager, District Industries Center, Adilabad
(presently working as General Manager, District Industries Center, Ongole,
Prakasam District) which has led to his conviction on criminal charge is
unworthy to serve as a Public Servant and his further continuation in the
Public Service is undesirable;

3. And whereas, Government after careful consideration of the matter,

have decided to impose the major penalty of dismissal from Government
service on Sri Tenali Anand Kumar, the then General Manager, District
Industries Center, Adilabad (presently working as GM, DIC, Ongole,
Prakasam District).

4. Now, therefore, in exercise of power conferred under clause (x) of Rule

9 read with clause (i) of Rule 25 of the Andhra Pradesh Civil Services
(Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules,1991 and G.O.Ms.No.2, General
Administration (Ser.C) Department, dt:04-01-1999, Government hereby
dismiss Sri Tenali Anand Kumar, the then General Manager, District
Industries Center, Adilabad (presently working as GM, DIC, Ongole,
Prakasam District) from Government service with immediate effect;

5. Accordingly, the following notification shall be published in the Extra-

ordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of power conferred under clause (x) of Rule 9 read with

clause (i) of Rule 25 of the Andhra Pradesh Civil Services (Classification,
Control & Appeal) Rules,1991 and G.O.Ms.No.2, General Administration
(Ser.C) Department, dt:04-01-1999, Government hereby dismiss Sri
Tenali Anand Kumar, the then General Manager, District Industries Center,
Adilabad (presently working as General Manager, District Industries Center,
Ongole, Prakasam District) from Government service with immediate effect;
