HAIR STYLIST CONTRACT AGREEMENT

This hair stylist contract agreement (“Agreement”) is made and entered into on this _____ day
of [MONTH], [YEAR] by and between [INSERT NAME OF HAIR STYLIST] (“Independent
Contractor”) and [INSERT NAME OF COMPANY] (“Company”). The Independent Contractor and
Company shall be collectively referred to as the “Parties.”

FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION of the mutual promises and agreements reached by the parties
and as provided for in this Agreement, the Parties shall hereby acknowledge the following:

I. EMPLOYMENT

The Company shall agree to employ the Independent Contractor beginning on ____ day
of [MONTH], [YEAR] and shall continue until the termination of this Agreement.

The Independent Contractor shall accept the task of cutting and styling hair and other
related services offered by the Company in accordance with the terms and conditions
set forth in this Agreement in the Company’s premises in [INSERT COMPLETE COMPANY
ADDRESS];

Furthermore, beginning on ____ day of [MONTH], [YEAR] the Company shall agree to
engage the services of the Independent Contractor which shall include the following:

● Conditioning hair by applying the necessary hair and scalp treatments

● Designing the customers’ desired hairstyles by arranging, curling, cutting,
trimming, bleaching, and dyeing hair
● Performing other miscellaneous duties such as waxing, pedicuring, manicuring,
and doing facials treatments

II. NON-COMPETITION

For the whole duration of this Agreement and for a period of ____ year/s after the
termination of this Agreement and employment, the Independent Contractor shall not,
directly or indirectly, (1) own or create either as a sole proprietor, partner, stockholder,
or otherwise have interest in the same business as the company’s; (2) participate as
officer, director, or manager of operations of a similar business; and (3) perform services
or act in the capacity of an employee, consultant, agent or as an independent contractor
to any enterprise engaged either directly or indirectly in the same business.
 The Parties shall agree that it will be difficult to measure damages to the Company from
any breach committed under this section and monetary damages shall be an inadequate
remedy for such breach. Correspondingly, the Independent Contractor shall agree that if
he or she commits any breach under this Section, the Company shall then be entitled to
an injunction or other appropriate legal order to address such breach without showing
or proving the actual damages sustained by the Company.

The Parties shall agree that upon the termination of the Agreement or employment of
the said independent contractor, the company shall not release the said contractor from
any obligation under this Section.

III. COMPENSATION

In consideration of all the services that the Independent Contractor may render to the
Company, the Company shall agree to pay a commission of ____% of the total income
generated. The commission that the Independent Contractor will be receiving shall be
paid on a [INSERT PAYMENT BASIS] basis.

Any other compensation that the Independent Contractor shall receive in the form of
bonuses or benefits shall be paid in gross amount without any tax deductions as all
responsibility as to taxes shall be under the liability of the Independent Contractor.

The Company shall not reimburse the Independent Contractor for any travel and other
related expenses.

IV. TERMINATION

The employment of the Independent Contractor shall be terminated at any time under
the following conditions:

1. When the Independent Contractor commits any material breach and fails to
explain and remedy the said breach within three business days
2. When the Independent Contractor commits repeated and persistent acts that do
not comply with the signed agreement

Outside the enumerated conditions, the Company shall not terminate unilaterally
without due and proper notice to the Independent Contractor for at least a month
prior to said termination.
 Likewise, the Independent Contractor may terminate this Agreement at any time upon
mutual agreement and upon prior written notice of at least _____ months.

V. DEFAULT

For any default committed against this Agreement, the defaulting party shall reimburse
the non-defaulting party for all the costs and expenses incurred, directly or indirectly,
including the attorney’s fees.

In addition, for any suit or action filed in the enforcement of this Agreement, the
prevailing party shall be rightfully reimbursed of all the costs and expenses incurred in
relation to the suit or action including, but not limited to, reasonable attorney’s fees.

VI. SEVERABILITY

Any waiver made by any of the parties shall not be made binding unless it has been
expressly written by the party that instigated the said waiver.

VII. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

All the disputes under this Agreement shall be settled by arbitration under the federal
laws of the United States of America and of the state laws of __________.

Once a petition for arbitration has been lodged on a court of competent jurisdiction, its
decision shall then be deemed as final and binding upon the Independent Contractor
and the Company.

VIII. GOVERNING LAW

All of the provisions provided within the Agreement shall be governed and be rightfully
construed in accordance with the laws of the state of ___________. This Agreement
shall faithfully abide by the federal laws of the United States of America.

Any provision that may be stricken as unconstitutional or in violation of the applicable

labor laws or provisions held to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable may it be in whole or
in part will not affect the validity of the other remaining parts and shall remain valid,
binding, and enforceable between the Independent Contractor and the Company.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, this Agreement shall be duly signed by the Independent Contractor and
