Septemberstars , soft and warm beanie made in September ☺

Sizes : One size

woman M / children > 10 years

Other sizes : use other needles and yarns, or put on 16 stitches more for
a bigger hat

Dimensions
Length : 21 cm children size, 23-24 cm adult size

Circumference: approx. 52-55 cm for adult washed and blocked

Materials: 3 or 2 colours of DK Sportsyarn as

DROPS Lima, Drops Karisma or simular yarn , 22-23 stitches = 10 cm
40 grams of 3 colors

Cirkular needles 40 cm 3,5 or 4 ( UK sizes ).

Doublepointed needles same sizes

Remember needle sizes are guidelines

 instructions
Cast on 106 sts on cirkular needles size 3,5 (or 4 ) with colour 1
and work 10 rounds 1 knit 1 purl ( 4 cm )
Or longer if you prefer it ☺
(If you use thinner yarn and your gauge is different, you can easy
cast on ex 16more stitches )

Switch to stockinette stitch on next round with colour 1

and increase evenly to 112 stitches .

Knit chart and changer colours as in chart.

Please note certain rows with long floats.
After the chart , knit stockinette stitch with colour 3 and decrease
2 stitches to 110.

Measure the hat and knit stockinette until the hat measures 18 cm
for children size and 20-21 cm for adult size.
Or so long you wish ☺
Baggy hat : knit 3 - 4 cm more

SHAPE CROWN ( 3-4 cm )

(switch to Double Pointed Needles when necessary)
Rnd 1: (Knit 3, K2tog) around.
Rnd 2 and Rnd 3 Knit all sts around.
Rnd 4: (K2, K2tog) around.
Rnd 5 and Rnd 6 Knit all sts around.
Rnd 7: (K1, K2tog) around.
Rnd 8: Knit all sts around
Rnd 9 and Rnd 10 K2tog around.
FINISHING
Break yarn, leaving a long tail. Use darning needle to thread yarn through
remaining sts. Pull yarn tight and secure.
Weave in ends
Steam, or wash and dry flat.

POMPOM:
Make a large, compact pompom in all or one colour.
It should be approx. 8 cm in diameter. Or buy a nice fur pompom.
Sew the pompom on the top of the hat

If the chart is difficult to read in grey and yellowbrown, here you can
read a part of it in other colours ☺
