signatures. Separate Score Cards will not be sent by email or by post to the candidates. The validation of
the score can be done at http://www.aicte-cmat.in which also provides an all India merit list indicating Roll
number, Rank and the Score of all the candidates. CMAT-2018 score is valid for the admissions of
academic year 2018.
II. The Scores obtainded have been calculated by assigning.
+4 Marks for the correct answer
-1 Mark for incorrect answer
0 Mark for no answer
III. A National Merit Ranking (All India Rank) has been arrived based on the Score secured against Total Score.
In case scores are same for more than one candidate, the ranking has been done on sectional score
considered in the order of:- Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language
Comprehension, General Awareness
IV. In case more than one candidate has secured same rank in spite of applying the above criteria, the same
Rank has been assigned to all of them but has been displayed by sorting their names alphabetically in the
merit list. The Rank of the subsequent candidate has been shifted by the number of additional students
having the same Rank.
V. The admission authorities are recommended to use score awarded to the students for further counseling
and allotment of seat in the AICTE approved institutions running management programs along with other
criteria as applicable.
VI. Instances of incorrect information provided by the candidates, if detected at any stage, would make the
candidate liable for disqualification.
VII. Any dispute concerning CMAT 2018 would be subject to Jurisdiction of the competent courts within the
territorial jurisdiction of New Delhi only.
