Letter of Recommendation: Meseret Patterson

Dear:

Meseret Patterson has worked under my supervision since August 22, 2018 as a Nursing Student in the
4th semester Preceptorship in the BSN program at the University of Arizona, College of Nursing. Meseret
had her Preceptorship at Encompass Health Rehab Facility, Tucson, Arizona in the Medical Surgical Unit.
Meseret has taken on 5-6 patients for this particular unit at times including: managing of her patients,
assisting other staff members with their patients, and Shadowing the Charge Nurse. During her rotation,
Meseret has proved to be an efficient, hardworking, patient advocate and important team member. Not
only did her Preceptor, but other staff members commented on her excellence when caring for her
patients, and families. Meseret always came prepared to her clinical setting per her Preceptor, and she
was prepared when I rounded on her weekly.

I was very impressed with Meseret ’s ability to complete all work assigned to her in a timely and
professional manner. In addition, Meseret was very precise and thorough with all her work.

I highly recommend Meseret for whatever position she may decide to endeavor. She is a type of person
that anyone would enjoy to work be side.
