Module Lesson 16

What this module is about

Good morning, are you ready to start new lesson? I hope you’ll be interested in our
lesson today. This module will give you some knowledge that you can use in the near future.
Machine shorthand is a skill course. If you follow all instructions carefully and learn the proper
depressing in keyboard I’m sure you will be a great stenographer someday.

3. Review the Derivatives.
4. Review the Phrases.

How to learn form this module

I’m sure you already studied the basic shorthand, and you know some of the principles in
shorthand. Since we don’t have real machine shorthand, make a drawing of the keyboard that
will serve as your tool in studying machine shorthand. Follow all instructions indicated in this
module and use the drawing of the keyboard in depressing each key.

machine shorthand like letters, words, consonant compounds, abbreviations, derivatives, and
phrases. You can evaluate yourself through the materials presented here.
There are already 26 initial and final letters learned starting from the first lesson. See if
you can write these letters without mistakes. You may not include the comma.

There are quite number of abbreviations and derivatives. If you can recall all of these,
then you can continue with the lesson with ease; if not you can just repeat all the review given
here to evaluate yourself. Good luck.
