The FAIR WEATHER MARINER 39 is a World-
Class, High Performance, Cruising Sailboat. Fair
Weather Marine Inc., is dedicated to the theme of
“RELIABILITY” and = “MAINTAINABILITY’’.
Everything on the boat is consistent with the
philosophy of an integrated, compatable, and com-
prehensive “TOTAL SYSTEM’. The key ingre-
dients are prefaced with TOP QUALITY! QUALITY
IN DESIGN, QUALITY IN MATERIAL AND EQUIP-
MENT, QUALITY IN CONSTRUCTION!
The FAIR WEATHER MARINER 39 was design-
ed by Robert Perry as a HIGH PERFORMANCE
world cruiser. So when Bob was designing the Fair
Weather Mariner 39, the emphasis was on PER-
FORMANCE. The exceptional hull design with
“easy” compatible lines provide sailing
characteristics which result in exceptional track-
ing, perfect balance, outstanding stability and,
above all, speed. The theoretical hull speed is

exceeds. The combination of the moditied Hin keel,
very large skeg and the rudder system, provide
tracking and stability you'd expect to find on a full
keel sailboat, yet the balance, pointing ability,
speed and control you'd expect to find on a fin
keel sailboat. Truly, “QUALITY” IN DESIGN!
The only way to build a superior product, is to
use superior goods. That's why Fair Weather
Marine Inc., selects only TOP QUALITY material
and equipment for use in the Fair Weather Mariner
39. The resin we use is an unsaturated polyester
resin from Japan, especially designed for spray-up
and hand lay-up operations. It's a Thixotropic.
open mold resin, particularly suitable for large
boats and bears the Lloyds Register of Ship
Building Approval for use in boat construction. The
interior is a complimentary blend of white padded
vinyl overheads, joiner work of hand selected
Burmese Teak or optional Rose Wood, with all the
luxuriously padded cushions upholstered in soft
elegant velours. All the parts, pumps and com-
ponents are top of the line, the tankage all
stainless, and the ballast all lead. We feature
lsomat spars with all 3/8" stainless steel standing
figging as standard. Truly, “QUALITY” IN
MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT!
QUALITY MUST BE “BUILT-IN”. IT CAN'T BE
AN ADD-ON! The Fair Weather Mariner 39, is hand
laid, with an “extra thick” deck and hull lamina-
tion schedule, alternate layers of mat. S glass
woven rovings and cloth, assuring greater resin
absorbsion. interlaminer bonding and strength.
The hull is all single layer construction. The entire
deck, cabintop and topsides are all marine
plywood reinforced sandwich construction. The
hull and deck are laid up in “one piece” molds!
They're then joined with SS through-bolts, then
glassed deck-to-hull, integrated to form essential.
ly a one piece boat. The inside of the hull is
separated from the interior lining by a one inch
dead air space to provide extra insulation thus
preventing condensation and eliminates mildew
Truly, “QUALITY” IN CONSTRUCTION!
THE “FAIR WEATHER MARINER 39," IS A
COMPLETELY INTEGRATED, TOP QUALITY
TOTAL SYSTEM, HIGH PERFORMANCE WORLD
CRUISING SAILBOAT!
