Laboratory Report No. 1
Waste Characterization and Properties

1. Introduction
A carbon footprint describes the amount of carbon dioxide that is released into the
atmosphere as a result of your activities such as travel, preparing food, and cooling or heating your
home. Most of the carbon dioxide that results from your activities is produced by the
burning of fossil fuels.
2. Objectives
At the end of the laboratory activity, the student should be able to:
2.1.discuss the characteristics of different agricultural wastes,
2.2.describe the physical, biological and chemical properties of agricultural
wastes, and
2.3.identify the biological component of waste under microscope.

3. Methodology
(write a narrative of your detailed methods in performing the laboratory activity)

4. Results and Discussion

4.1. Agricultural Wastes Characterization
